Indukanta Ghrita is polyherbal Ayurvedic medicine also known as Indukantham Ghritham, Indukanta Ghritham, Indukantha Ghritham. This is a medicated ghee containing Dashmula and many other medicinal herbs and indicated in treatment of weakness, chronic fever, vata roga, tuberculosis and peptic ulcer. Key Ingredients of Indukanta Ghrita

  • Dashmula (Each root taken in amount of 25.6 grams)
  • Putika (Holoptelea integrifolia) 256 grams
  • Devadaru Cedrus deodara 256 grams
  • Water for decoction 12.288 litre
  • Cow milk 768 ml
  • Gau ghrita 768 grams

Indukanta ghrita is green-coloured, soft, low melting medicated clarified butter, unctuous to touch, slightly pungent odour and slightly bitter taste. This ghee should be stored in a cool place in tightly closed container, protected from light and moisture.

  • Shula or pain/colic
  • Gulma (abdominal lump), Udar roga disease of abdomen, peptic ulcer
  • Vishama jvara (intermittent fever)
  • Vata Roga (disease due to Vata Dosha)

Dosage of Indukanta Ghrita

Overview

It is mentioned in Chakradatta and Bhaishajya Ratnavali in Vrana shotha Roga Adhikara for the treatment of Vrana. Wound is known as Vrana in ayurveda. It includes abrasion (wearing away of the upper layer of skin as a result of applied friction force), haematoma (localized swelling filled with blood caused by a break in the wall of a blood vessel, blood clots and remains inside muscle/organ), bruise injury (discoloration and tenderness of the skin due to the leakage of blood from an injured blood vessel), contusion, fissure in ano, stab wounds, incised wounds, laceration (torn wound), abscess, cyst etc.

Durva or doob grass is main ingredient of this oil. Durvadi taila has analgesic, anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties due to which effectively helps in wound healing.

Kamadudha Rasa

This medicine is from specific branch of Ayurveda which is known as Rasashastra in which precious metals, minerals and gems are used to prepare medicine.

Avipattikara Churna

This herbal powder medicine is very helpful for people who are suffering from hyperacidity, constipation and other gastric problem. This can be given 2 teaspoon(adult) and 1 teaspoon(children) three times a day with with milk when stomach is empty or as directed by doctor.

Drakshadi Lehyam

Alsarex Tablet(Charak)

This is very famous Ayurvedic medicine for chronic acidity due to Gastric ulcer, Duodenal ulcer, Non-ulcer dyspepsia. It is a natural antacid and antiulcerant. Alsarex not only reduces the acid secretion but also strengthens the mucosal defence. Two tablets 2-3 times a day with a bland diet for three to six weeks.

Acidinol(BAN Lab)

Acidinol is one of the best herbal Ayurvedic medicine for treatment stomach acidity and disorders occurred due to acidity like stomach refluxes into the esophagus and cause heart burn. Take 1 tablet 3 times a days after meal or syrup 1-2 teaspoonful(s) three to four times as needed orally after every meal. In case of chronic acidity take this medicine for 4 weeks.

Soota Sekhar

Sutshekhar Ras is herbomineral medicine with mercury, sulphur, copper, borax and herbs. Dosage of Arsh Kalp Capsules

Arsh kalp Capsules is given in the dosage of 1-2 capsules twice a day depending upon the condition. Arsh kalp Capsules should be taken with butter-milk or luke warm water on empty stomach in the morning and in the evening before dinner. Once the piles are relieved, it is advisable to consume one more pack of Arshkalp one week later to avoid recurrence.

In case, person is suffering from constipation, then regularly take 2 teaspoons full of Triphala Churna with warm water at bedtime to avoid constipation.

Note: While taking Arsh Kalp capsules, one should not eat anything except, Roti with Moong Dal (Without adding any salt or condiments), Wheat Dalia without any sugar or salt, Milk without sugar and plain water.
